Daniel is currently a senior analyst at Houlihan Lokey in New York office. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate in Financial Markets Group (formerly FSR) at PwC in New York City where he specialized in valuation for corporate debts and private equity portfolio companies, and transaction advisory services for agency CMOs origination and CLOs. He previously worked in the Healthcare and Life sciences M&A group for a middle market investment bank in Washington DC and two private equity buyout firms in Baltimore and Dallas.

Vu Tran

Vu is an Investment Banking Analyst at Macquarie in their Financial Institutions Group in New York City. In his capacity, he advises on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions across a number of sectors within the wider financial services market, including Insurance, Specialty Finance and Financial Technology. Prior to joining Macquarie, Vu was a Senior Associate at PwC, rotating between their Business Valuation and Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory (CMAAS) groups.

Henry is currently a Strategy Associate at Axoni, a financial technology firm serving the world's largest financial institutions and capital markets service providers with full stack blockchain solutions. He was previously a Senior Associate in PwC's Management Consulting group, specialized in M&A Advisory within the Financial Services industry.

Long Pham

Long Pham

Long Pham is a Vice President at MAEVA Capital, a New York-based merchant banking firm focused on acquiring or investing in challenged businesses and advising companies undergoing major transitions. Previously, Mr. Pham worked for the private equity investment arm of the Dubai Government, where he focused on evaluating and managing investments in the industrial and financial services sectors. Mr. Pham began his career in the investment banking division at Bank of America, where his responsibilities involved advising financial sponsors and corporate clients in debt financings and leveraged buyouts across a broad range of industries. Mr. Pham received an MBA with Dean's Honors from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science with University Honors from Carnegie Mellon University.

Lien Pham is an Analyst at Barclays PLC, working at the eFX Trading desk in New York. Together with the team, Lien manages Barclays’ market making business in G10 and actively traded EM currencies, serving institutional clients including real money, hedge funds, and mutual funds. She holds a B.A. degree in Economics and Mathematics from Franklin & Marshall College.

Son Le is an Analyst in the Data Integrity Group at BlackRock, where he focuses on maintaining and analyzing all data integral to the investment process through the Aladdin platform. Prior to that, he had internships experience with Indochina Capital, a real estate investment firm in VN, and Uber Technologies. He has a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Mathematics from Penn State University

A native Saigoneer, Chris joined Vietnam Finance Society in 2019 out of his passion for connecting people together and building representation of the Vietnamese community in the financial industry. A management consultant at Gartland & Mellina Group, Chris benefitted from having great mentors and believes that every young, aspiring professional should have the same opportunity. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and serves on the Board of his alma matter’s alumni association. In his spare time, Chris enjoys organizing beach volleyball and poker socials with his friends and writing short stories on weekends.

Ashley Nguyen is an Analyst at Mazda North American Operations. Ashley is currently focusing on franchise profitability, trade cycle management, customer experience and brand loyalty strategy. Prior to joining Mazda, she interned at Fortress Development Group, a real estate fund in Upstate New York. She earned an MBA with concentration in Management Information Systems/Business Analytics and a B.S. degree in Finance with Highest Distinction from Binghamton University

Trang is an MPA candidate at Columbia University SIPA, class of 2020. She is passionate about Impact Investing and wants to use innovative financial tools to tackle Vietnam's socio-economic challenges. Prior to SIPA, she worked as a Risk Consultant at Deloitte London for 3 years, advising C-suite clients on strategic risks and supporting global companies during high-profile live crises. Trang holds a B.Sc in Economics from London School of Economics.

Minh Ngo

Minh is an assistant vice president at Swiss Re Asset Management and is responsible for providing financial due diligence support on corporate M&A and restructuring transactions, debt and equity financings, and implementation of financial reporting applications. Prior to joining Swiss Re in January 2018, he was a senior consultant in Ernst & Young’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice providing technical accounting advices on a variety of complex capital market transactions. He is a Charted Financial Analyst, a CPA licensed in New York and a certified Financial Risk Manager.

David Nguyen

David Nguyen

David Nguyen, Senior Associate at Dexia Credit Local, NY. He joined the company in January 2014 as an intern analyst and has become full time employee since 2016. His responsibilities at Dexia Credit Local include high-yield municipal research analysis, providing fixed income portfolio manager support, building and maintaining cashflow model for the financial guarantors. Prior to joining Dexia, Mr. Nguyen spent six months internship at Credit Agricole CIB in Paris, France, covering CDS trading desk and hedging the credit risk of the bank’s counter parties. He also worked at Lyxor Asset Management as an intern funds analyst, covering Long/Short Equity and Event Driven Funds. He obtained his Bachelor in Science and Economics at the University of Poitiers and his Master degree in Financial Markets at ESCEM Business School in 2014.
